I actually went back and specifically dropped their tone because I found the books, being so far away from the fire, didn't look good with the warm tones on them. It flattened the drawing.

Nah, I´m just too lazy to draw backgrounds, especially for little doodles like this one, which just focus on a character - I do realize that it´s something I need to work on.
Actually, I think that I am slowly getting the hang of drawing landscapes and interiors. Now I just need to start putting characters in there. ^^
